Description:
Abeliastos is the renowned sweet red wine of limited production from the Boutari Winery in Santorini, originating from the Mandilaria variety. The grapes are carefully hand-picked and sun-dried on terraces for 5-9 days, a procces that ispired the name of te wine, << Abeli>> and << Liastos>, meaning vineyard and sun-dried. Then the wine is aged for 4 years in oak barrels. The result is a special wine with red-terracotta color and brown tints, with dominant aromas of dried fruits, spices, cinnamon and chocolate. Enjoy it chill at 2-4C as an aperitif or as a desert accompaniment.
